Introduction

Collins and Associates is a third generation company.  We have been located in Grand Rapids since 1929, and moved to our Cascade Rd. location in 1981.  We offer Commercial Insurance, with an Alternative Market Division, Risk Management Services, Employee Benefits, Financial Services and Personal Insurance.  The third generation, R. Parke Collins II, CIC, LIC, CRM, joined the Agency in 1989 upon graduation from the School of Business at Marquette University.  He earned his Property Casualty Insurance license while a sophomore at college.  In 1999 he purchased the agency from his father, R. Parke Collins.  Parke is a Certified Insurance Counselor and serves as Risk Manager for several mid-west corporations.

We opened our Petoskey office in December of 2008.  Our office is located in the heart of downtown on E. Mitchell Street.  We offer Commercial Insurance, Risk Management Services, Employee Benefits, Financial Services and Personal Insurance.  Amanda Truman, CIC, became a partner in the Petoskey location in 2009, bringing 12 years of insurance experience with her.  Amanda serves as an account executive and managing partner.
